I have SO been looking forward to these pictures! Rachael is a total babe with incredible style. Her vintage "mismatched" themed wedding was striking. For her makeup we decided to do things "different" and I LOVED IT. Her red/poppy lips were the perfect touch to the overall picture of her day. Fighting it.

They say it's genetic... but I am going to try and prove them wrong. My mom has the craziest looking stretch marks from pregnancy that I have ever seen (sorry mom). Hot Air Balloons

I have a thing for hot air balloons. I think they're awesome. They come out seasonally in North County San Diego (where I live) and they give me the warm fuzzies when I see them. When my brother and I were little one landed in our backyard---- we about passed out from excitement over this. We still talk about it. ANYway, I recently wanted to update the situation above the fireplace. I bought a piece of smooth pine wood from Home Depot and got to work. I wanted it very simple using only black paint and a little charcoal. Here is how it turned out...

The Coastal Wanderer {Makeup}

I was fortunate enough to work with two ridiculously talented individuals on a little photo shoot featuring Quicksilver Womens Fall Collection. Beth is a personal stylist and Laurel is a photographer--- both ridiculously talented. Beth asked that the makeup be, "Natural skin and a smokey eye... like she woke up with it still on from the night before." Here's how it turned out...
